Devil May Cry 4 is an action video game developed by Capcom Production Studio 4 and published by Capcom.This title is the fourth of a series of action games on which an anime saga is also based.
The story focuses on the characters of Dante and Trish and their quest to confront the demon called Mundus. The game consists of levels called "missions", where players must fight numerous enemies, perform tasks in various platforms and sometimes solve "puzzles" to move through the story. The player can temporarily transform himself into a more powerful character, a diabolic creature using the "Devil Trigger." Doing so, he gains power on the basis of existing weapons, and the look of the character is of course changed.
Devil May Cry contains puzzles and other challenges. The main plot often requires the player to find the key points to advance, similar to the puzzle in the Resident Evil games, as well as platforms and optional exploration tasks to find hidden caches of "orbs". There are secret missions in the game which are hidden or are outside the areas of the main action and they are not required for the right ending, they offer a piece of blue orb as reward, which, upon completion, increases lifeline.
The success of this game has caused it to be adapted to books, comics, toys, manga and an anime series. |
